I don't remember what instance this took place in, but my boyfriend, a level 63 tauren warrior was running me through (a level 28 tauren druid). It was too high of an instance for me, so we already knew that I was going to aggro everything! We were being very careful. I was staying away from ledges and everything, to minimize the chance of aggro-ing everything below.

Everything was going fine. We were on the last leg of the journey through the instance. We were almost at the end. We're going down a ramp type deal-y that wound down around the wall of the cavern. All of a sudden, I hit major lag. I kept pushing the arrow keys, trying to catch up to my boyfriend, while yelling at him to wait for me (we were playing together in the same room). Then... lag stops. I get control of my cow back. But not before she runs to the edge. There's crowds and crowds of mobs down at the bottom. I aggro every single one of them.

They all start to run up toward us. I'm standing in front of my boyfriend now, although not intentionally. He's trying to get me to stand next to him, while holding everything off. I'm trying to keep my health up, as well as his. It's complete chaos. I don't even know how many of them there were, but he was killing for a good while. Then he starts telling me to heal more, because my health is dropping fast. Most of them are focused on him, but they're still coming up from the bottom. They, naturally, come after me. He doesn't realize that they aren't all on him. I'm trying to heal but it keeps getting interupted. He's getting frustrated, thinking that I'm not doing anything.

I die. Naturally. So, I just sit there and watch him. There's no one to heal him now. He's on his own. Two left. That's all. He only had too left when he went down too. That was actually the first time I'd seen him die. He was always questing with me, afterall. Everything was a much lower level than him. So, when I whispered our friend, saying that the great tauren warrior had fallen, he was floored. He LOVED the fact that I was the reason he died.

The three of us ended up having a good laugh at that. And my boyfriend and I were very careful when we did the rest of the instance.
